May 18, 2023When summer hits New England, most people don't think about hitting the slopes. Ski resorts are typically winter hot spots for skiers and boarders, but one Connecticut mountain has a whole new way to 'slide.'
While many Northern New England resorts are adding mountain coasters, Powder Ridge Park in Middlefield, CT is once again adding slides.
Massive, inflatable, mountainside slides.

Powder Ridge first rolled out the inflatable slides in 2022 and people loved it. So back by popular demand, the mega waterslides are returning later this month for another outdoor summer of fun.
The park doesn't stop there though. To make your two hour road trip from the SouthCoast worth it, there is also a mountain bike track, disc golf course and zip lines directly over the waterslides.

So while the waterslides at Water Wizz are certainly closer and the inflatables in Cape Cod are bouncier, these mountainside waterslides are definitely a new way to enjoy some summer fun in New England.
